Finals Week

I was really stressed about finals week. I was thinking that it was going to be like finals week in college, where all you do is study and all the test are nothing like you studied for. But it was nothing like that. Yes I had to study hard but it was so nice not having to study stuff that i will never use in life. I knew I needed to learn this and retain it. The Saturday before finals week my teacher gave us every question that could be on the test! So I knew exactly what to study for!

That Tuesday we didn't have school so that was nice, we got a day off to study which is what I really needed.On wednesday we had our practel which is where we brought someone into the school and we did a mock of everything that we could do in school, so we had to do some differnt color application, we had to roll a perm, we had to straighten, blow dry, wash their hair, it was so intmidating but I was so lucky to have my cousin Shell there! I felt so comfortable saying "I cant remember what I do" or "I have no idea what to do", but she talked me through it  and I passed!!! With a 98% that was such a good feeling because I was never good at taking test!
The next day we had a male model come in and get there hair cut. My husband was so nice to come and help me out! He was so cute in helping me figure out what to do and telling me what he liked and didn't like. I love being married to Jed because he is so honest with me. He would tell me, "that looks funny, whats up with that." His hair turned out really good and he liked it and I have been cutting his hair ever since!

Friday was our test day, I was so scared I was studying like crazy to make sure  I had everything memorized and I just wanted to take the test as soon as I could. When we got the test I felt like i knew what I was doing, there was very few questions where I didn't know the answer. It was so amazing to take a test and feel confident about it. When I was done and it was corrected i got 100%  i was so excited!

Saturday we had a party! We had tacos and watched movies! It was so much fun and we were done with core! Next week was our first week on the floor!
