First day of school.

I started school on September 17th and I was so excited. I had to be to school at 10 am,so I left way earlier than I needed to and was so excited to be there and ready to learn. I had no idea what to expect? Was it going to be like the first day of any other school where go over polices and stuff? Or are they going to jump right into it? I was so scared to go in and see who was in my class. I got there and saw some other girls walking into the school so I knew I had come on the right day. I got in there and everyone was so excited to see us. They were so warm and welcoming. 

I sat down in the back of the class, but my instructor Cami asked me to sit in the front. I was nervous that I had an assigned seat and I didn't know it.  I sat down and started talking to Brooklyn, Kylie, Ariel, Raeshelle, and Gabby. They were all so nice! When I sat down there was so much at my table. All of our books and papers that we would need for the next six weeks while we were in the class room. Cami read us all the rules and I’m not going to lie I though that she was our teacher. But she told us that she was with the Esthetics group and that Olivia was going to be our teacher. I was a little thrown off. But in the end I’m SO glad that Olivia was our teacher. We played get to know you games and all that jazz that you do on the first day.

We went around and said why we wanted to be there and we read our all about ME’s. (Which where questions that they had asked us to answer.) When I was reading over all the questions they wanted us to answer, one of them said name your favorite actor? One said name your favorite actress? For some reason I thought that said favorite activity. I’m not sure how I messed that up but I did and I said it to the class and I didn't realize it till  everyone was done. I was so embarrassed! 

Afterwards we got our kits! They came in a huge box and it was like Christmas! We got to unwrap all of it and it was so much fun! I loved it.

Once it was time to go home we had to take all of our stuff to our car so we could take it home and write our names on all of it. Everyone has the same stuff so it’s easy to get stuff mixed up. I tried to take all my stuff out to my car at the same time and I just looked like a mess caring my whole kit out to my car. 

After school Jed and I had decided that I was going to meet him at his store just to say hi. My phone had died so he was unable to get a hold of me. It was so funny because I get to the store and his friend James was like, "Jed has been locked out of your house for a while ya might want to go help him get in." I hurried home to let my husband into our house! I’m just glad I was close enough that he didn't have to sit out there for long. Later we went to dinner for Jed’s cousins birthday and it was so fun to tell them about school! I was so excited that I had finally started school! 

So all in all my first day of hair school was like the first day of any school, you go over what to do if a fire happens, or what to do if an earth quack happens and you play get to know you games. Everyone in my class was so nice and happy to be there I’m so glad I chose Paul Mitchell!
